Some people keep medicines as medicine supplies at home. In order to maintain the quality of medicines, knowledge is needed regarding the management of medicines in the household. This drug management applies to drugs purchased at pharmacies for self-medication as well as prescription drugs. With knowledge about good medication management, the community, especially housewives (IRT), can avoid the risks of irrational medication. Most people don't remember how long the medicine has been kept at home. So, people often use this medicine without looking at the expiration date. The time limit for using a drug that is not suitable for consumption before the primary packaging is opened is the definition of the expiration date. Beyond Use Date (BUD) is the time limit for drug use after the primary packaging is opened. This community service aims to provide education that can increase the community's understanding of Beyond Use Date (BUD). The method used is in the form of outreach such as lectures and questions and answers. The conclusion of service is an understanding of Beyond Use Date (BUD).
2025-05-14T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 aminia afifahhttps://e-journal.stfi.ac.id/index.php/jsmar/article/view/9The Relationship Between Knowledge and Handwashing Habits in Private Clinics in Bandung Regency2025-03-20T08:22:40+07:00siti uswatunsalamhasanah2215@gmail.com
Infections related to health service activities according to the World Health Organization (WHO) are infections that occur among medical personnel and patients around health facilities, whether hospitals or clinics, during care activities or while carrying out activities in health services. This is one of the drivers for increasing product sales value which then has an impact on company turnover. This community service program (PKM) aims to identify the understanding of MSME actors in Pondoksalam District, Purwakarta Regency regarding the importance of the quality and safety of processed food produced. There were 15 MSME respondents we interviewed who had not tested the quality of their processed products and had not included the shelf life on the packaging. In implementing PKM, we provide outreach regarding quality assurance and safety of food products according to Indonesian National Standards (SNI), as well as providing assistance and facilitating product analysis and determining shelf life. MSME products that are examples are types of snack foods in the form of banana chips, banana sale, pungpa, basreng, and Ladu, which are produced by MSMEs from Tanjung Sari Village, Pondoksalam District, Purwakarta. This program shows an increase in knowledge of MSME players regarding the importance of quality and safety standards for processed food products. With this program, MSME players have also received a quality analysis certificate for their MSME products, which can be included on their product packaging. It is hoped that this PKM Program will have a positive impact on MSMEs, so that they can complete important information, by including the nutritional adequacy figure (RDA) and shelf life on their product packaging. In this way, processed food products from Tanjungsari Village can compete in official shops, supermarkets and global markets, and can increase the economic income of MSMEs
2025-05-14T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 nisrina nurhttps://e-journal.stfi.ac.id/index.php/jsmar/article/view/11Educational Outreach on the Safe Use of Traditional Medicines among the Community of Bukit Pinang Subdistrict, Samarinda2025-05-09T08:44:06+07:00hajrahhajrah@farmasi.unmul.ac.id
The utilization of traditional medicine as an alternative form of healthcare is experiencing a notable increase within contemporary culture.
